Profile

I am a Cohort of 2024 undergraduate student in the Department of Physics at the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech). I am also a member of the 2024 Apex Honors Class of Basic Sciences and the Congyou Program. I graduated from Jiangsu Liyang High School.

My research interests lie at the intersection of artificial intelligence, computational physics, and computational materials science. I am currently working in Professor Yuanyuan Zhou’s research group on the growth mechanisms of SiGe quantum nanowires and accelerated simulations of their structural evolution. I am also exploring Flow Matching-based methods for accelerating simulations of magnetic systems, with the goal of improving the efficiency of complex physical simulations through machine-learning techniques.

Profile

YANG Chaorui, a Physics undergraduate and a Cohort of 2024 APEX member. I graduated from Hengshui High School Experimental School and currently live in Shijiazhuang.

My life advisor is Professor YANG Xueming and my academic advisor is Professor Yang Bing. I previously studied surface dynamics and vacuum systems in Professor GUO Qing’s group. I am now learning experimental techniques in Professor YANG Bing’s group while independently designing and building a Rydberg atom quantum-computing platform.
